5-ht2a-serotoninreceptor
En serotoninreceptorsubtyp som finns i stor utsträckning distribuerad i perifera vävnader där den förmedlar de kontraktila svaren hos olika vävnader som innehåller GLATT MUSKEL. Selektiva 5-HT2A-receptorantagonister inkluderar KETANSERIN. 5-HT2A-subtypen finns också i BASAL GANGLIA och CEREBRAL CORTEX i HJÄRNAN där den förmedlar effekterna av HALLUCINOGENER såsom LSD.

Selective 5-HT2A receptor antagonists include KETANSERIN. The 5-HT2A subtype is also located in BASAL GANGLIA and CEREBRAL CORTEX of the BRAIN where it mediates the effects of HALLUCINOGENS such as LSD.
