Le forts osteotomi
Tvärgående snittning och lägesjustering av överkäken. Det finns tre typer: Le Fort I osteotomi för framflyttning av överkäken eller behandling av frakturer; Le Fort II osteotomi för behandling av brott på överkäken; Le Fort III osteotomi för behandling av bruten överkäke med frakturer i ett eller flera ansiktsben. Den senare metoden används även ofta för att korrigera kraniofacial dysostos och liknande ansiktsmissbildningar.

Transverse sectioning and repositioning of the maxilla. There are three types: Le Fort I osteotomy for maxillary advancement or the treatment of maxillary fractures; Le Fort II osteotomy for the treatment of maxillary fractures; Le Fort III osteotomy for the treatment of maxillary fractures with fracture of one or more facial bones.
