Små, monomera GTP-bindande proteiner kodade av ras-gener (GENES, RAS). Protoonkogen-härledda proteinet, PROTO-ONCOGENE PROTEIN P21 (RAS), spelar en roll i normal celltillväxt, differentiering och utveckling. Det onkogenhärledda proteinet ONCOGENE PROTEIN P21 (RAS) kan spela en roll i avvikande cellreglering under neoplastisk celltransformation (CELLTRANSFORMATION, NEOPLASTISK). Detta enzym var tidigare listat som EC 3.6.1.47.

The oncogene-derived protein ONCOGENE PROTEIN P21(RAS) can play a role in aberrant cellular regulation during neoplastic cell transformation (CELL TRANSFORMATION, NEOPLASTIC). This enzyme was formerly listed as EC 3.6.1.47.
